That is what NORTHERN ADVENTURES is celebrating with their CLASSIC NATIONAL PARKS & HISTORIC WESTERN LODGES ODYSSEY.
They were the creators of the "Group Flight" concept with their Alaska Tours, opening the vast Alaska wilderness to hundreds of pilots in the days before GPS and LORAN.
It is their knowledge of the area, in the air and on the ground that makes the difference. They know the best hotels, the best restaurants, the best attractions, and that is what makes their Tours the BEST.
All of the destinations are HIGH END. There are no cheap hotels, no fast food chains, and no tourist traps! Check out links to the hotels, inns and lodges below. Check out a sample menu click here
The destination airports are chosen not just for locale, but for service and accommodation to our specific needs, such as: ramp access for our vehicles to collect baggage, tie-down service, and sheltering our aircraft should thunderstorms arrive. Still it is not a perfect world. Some of the fields have "one way" runways due to terrain, others have "high density" issues and other "gotcha's". BUT there will be NO SURPRISES because there are thorough briefings before each flight.
An example is that we do not fly over the highest mountains, but go through the passes or choose a route around the higher terrain at a lower and more comfortable altitude. Safety and comfort are the NUMBER 1 PRIORITY.
On the ground the mission is still the same: the BEST we can be. We use high-quality vehicles (no rent-a-wrecks!) for our transportation needs. We know the routes and shortcuts to avoid traffic jams (and not get lost because the GPS died) and where to have lunch with great apple pie, and visit with the locals. How to best manage your time with quality experiences and not waste it on "Sizzle but no Steak" activities.
While aviation is the common link, you will find that your fellow companions ("Adventurers") share that same unique desire for the EXTRAORDINARY not the ordinary, and that is what you will experience on a NORTHERN ADVENTURES Odyssey.
Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks, and much more are waiting for you.
